OK I Booked, What's Next?

Create a profile on Carnival.com

Once you go to carnival.com, you can create an account (if you don't have one). Once your account has been created, you can go to "Manage" --> "Manage Your Booking". There you can add your booking. You will need your booking number, and your last name. Once you add your booking, it will save to your account, and you can come here to manage your reservation. You can also PAY your balance on the website and no longer have to call the group number.

Dining

You have been put down for "Your Time Dining".. This gives you the freedom to dine between 5:45-9:30 pm. You will also have the option to eat (and chat) with any of your family members!  The Carnival HUB app, will allow you to check in with anyone within the family group. You're probably wondering, what's the HUB app? 

Download the Carnival HUB app

Go to your app store and download the Carnival HUB app to your cell phone. This is your lifeline on the cruise ship. This will tell you what events are happening, which restaurants are open, how much money you spent, how long you have in each destination, This app will be null and void until you board the ship. Until then, go to carnival.com to manage your reservation

Excursions

Consider booking an excursion! While we are ported at Grand Cayman, we will have a family beach day at the Seven Mile Beach. Please feel free to consider excursions for Ocho Rios and Cozumel as we realize that this may be your first time to these islands, want to encourage the freedom to explore. Please note, that excursions have to be paid in full. Make sure to book early, as they can sell out as you get closer to the cruise date.

CHEERS! / Bottomless Bubbles

Consider if you would like to invest in a drinking package. Bottomless bubbles is simply an unlimited  soda & juice package. This lasts for the duration of your cruise, but note if ordering room service, you will be charged. 


CHEERS! is a all inclusive package to include, water (bottles) , soda, juice, specialty coffee, energy drinks and alcoholic drinks (up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day). Please know, these drinks can be used not only at bars, but also while eating in restaurants. Consider buying this package before the cruise starts as it will save you 10%.

Think about your arrival time!

Whether you are flying in or driving in, we HIGHLY recommend that you fly in at least a day before departing, as things happen. Also we would love to see you in Miami the night before departing. If you can not make the night before, no worries! You will be able to collect your t-shirts while on the ship.

What else should I think about?

Consider when you decide to fly home

Generally, the cruise arrives back in Miami while you are still sleeping. There are times where the security clearance takes longer than normal (or there could be a marathon which results in extreme traffic). If you plan to fly home the day you arrive back in Miami, please book your flight for no earlier than 12pm to be safe. 

Carnival Chat

Once we are at sea, you will no longer have cell service. It is recommended that you put your phone in airplane mode every time the ship pulls out. Carnival knows that there needs to be a way for us to contact each other while on the ship. They have created a chat function for a one time fee of $5 for the duration of the cruise. 

Internet Package

For those who need to stay connected, Carnival also offers a three tier internet plan: Social, Value and Premium . You can purchase per day, or for the duration of the cruise. You can go to Manage your booking to view each plan. 

Spa & Specialty Restaurants

Some other additional items you can purchase are spa treatments and specialty dining. Remember that all buffets and the main dining room (also pizza and Guy's Burgers) are included in your cruise fare. Some specialty restaurants include the steakhouse, bonsai sushi, bonsai teppanyaki  (hibachi) and Guy's Pig and Anchor (BBQ).
